Klaytn, Kakao’s public blockchain platform, Thursday announced its fourth group of eight DApp (decentralized application) partners. Klaytn plans to unveil its mainnet on June 27.

Kakao’s Ground X, the developer of Klaytn, said it had formed partnerships additionally with eight DApp developers in various fields including augmented reality, finance and supply chain. Klaytn has unveiled 26 DApp partners so far three times.

The latest announcement enabled Klaytn to have 34 DApp developers as partners before the release of the mainnet.

One of the new partners is “nBlocksHunt” operated by Neoply, the blockchain arm of Neowiz. nBlocksHunt is a gamified service combining AR (augmented reality) and LBS (location-based service) technologies allowing users to discover and claim tokens by visiting offline stores. The service is expected to develop further, enabling users to collect such digital assets as items and emoticons.

“Directional,” which had been selected as a project of the Financial Services Commission’s regulatory sandbox, joined Klaytn as a DApp. Directional is a blockchain-based peer-to-peer stock lending platform for individual investors.

Also joining Klaytn is TEMCO, a blockchain-powered supply chain platform. TEMCO is a project designed to show the process of commodity flow transparently by grafting blockchain technology onto the supply chain and has drawn investment from Korea Investment Partners. Most recently, TEMCO was chosen as one of Singapore’s blockchain startup nurturing programs and is preparing to release “GUHADA,” an e-commerce platform for pre-owned designer goods.

“SLIVER.tv,” a U.S.-based e-sports live streaming platform, also joined Klaytn as a DApp partner. SLIVER.tv is a platform offering live streaming contents of such popular games as Fortnite and League of Legends.

Other partners include “Sessia,” a Russia-based social network service offering tokens; “REDi,” a blockchain-based marketplace for new and renewable energy; “BolttCoin,” an incentivized healthcare service based in India; and “HAIVE,” China’s interactive language learning service.
